80's Skating

So.. last night my ward rented out Classic Skating and had an 80's party.
So. Much. Fun.
I didn't even fall! (Okay maybe once or twice... old school skates are hard!)
I have been on a Michael Jackson/ 80's kick all day.

Love.

Dear Math,

I know we have not really been the best of friends since you turned long division on me in 5th grade.
And I have not liked you much since.
Your so confusing
and hard to read
and I can't seem to understand you most of the time.
But now I'm in Math Ed 305,
I'm going to need you back in my life.
I'm going to need us to be civil to each other.
And when I become a teacher,
I am going to need to learn to love you.
I don't want to instill my bad attitude to the kids that I teach.

Please take me back? Let's get together.
K, Love you.

(Or at least I'll keep telling myself I do until I do)

So many Birthdays!

So... this month many of the most important people in my life have had birthdays!

January 3- Ashley Larsen. I love her so much! She is one of my best friends. She knows how to listen, gives good advise, and has a magical ability to make everything better. She makes you want to be a better person whenever you are around her.

January 5th- Heather Richins. She is my roommate for the past almost two years, one of my Best Friends, and I love her so much. We do everything together, we sure have had some crazy fun times. I don't know what I would do without her. :)

January 7th- Mom. I love my Mom! She is so supportive and has always been there for me. I wouldn't be here without her and I wouldn't be who I am today without her.

January 19th- Natalie Reynolds. Our roommate from last year. I love her so much and she's so fun. She always makes me laugh. We sure have been on some crazy adventures together. I am excited to live with her again next year, even though we hangout so much now that we pretty much do :)

January 27th- Katy Burton. Our first roommate ever. We sure had an adventurous summer with her. It was the best. She goes to BYU-Idaho now and we miss her like crazy! We love when she comes to visit.

Happy Birthday to some of the most important people in my life who have had birthdays this month!
 Love you all!

That one Winter with NO Snow...

Awesome:

School has started and I love my classes, especially "Drama in the Elementary Education Classroom" And no, it's not about stealing crayons and pulling hair.

The Ryde (a student run bus system) has been free this week. They gave out donuts and hot chocolate on Wednesday morning, and then played Brian Reagan on the bus. I am 95% sold on buying a pass. Mostly because of Brian Reagan.

We had a rocking party for Heather's Bday

The Doctrine and Covenants. I love it. I am a TA for the class that covers the first half, and I am in the second half. That equals about 10 hours of DnC every week.

The Brother being home.

3 awesome new roommates

Awkward:

I typed this whole post, only for my session to have timed out and I lost the whole thing.

Two of my best buds have dates this weekend....... Yay me?......

I have a problem blog stalking people I barely know. Creepy.

It is January... and there is no snow. It snowed for like day  What is going on?

Our room is a disaster. A tornado passed through as soon as we came home from Christmas break and it never cleaned up after itself. Good news: we are designating Saturday as our "clean our room" day. Woot Woot!

What I look like when I do "Hip Hop Abs" with the roomies .Just be grateful you never have and never will see it.
