Two of my Favorite Things...Conference.. And Cami :)

Cami is one of my favorite people in the whole world.
One of my best friends in the whole world.
I love her so much!
She's so amazing and such an example to me.

I can't wait to see her this weekend. It'll be so grand.
But hard at the same time.. she's leaving on her mission in two weeks :(
It'll be so bittersweet.
But...
Conference is this weekend and I LOVE LOVE LOVE conference.
It's so good to hear the words of a modern day Prophet.
I'm so grateful to know that God still speaks to his children and sends prophets to us in the latter days.
Heavenly Father is so good.

I. love. this. SO. much.

Some good advise.
Love it.

"Love is what makes you smile when your tired"

I love these quotes from little kids about love :)

A group of professional people posed this question to a group of 4 to 8 year-olds,   “What does love mean?”
The answers they got were broader and deeper than anyone could have imagined. See what you think:
“When my grandmother got arthritis, she couldn’t bend over and paint her toenails anymore. So my grandfather does it for her all the time, even when his hands got arthritis too. That’s love.” Rebecca- age 8

“When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different. You just know that your name is safe in their mouth.” Billy – age 4

“Love is when a girl puts on perfume and a boy puts on shaving cologne and they go out and smell each other.” Karl – age 5

“Love is when you go out to eat and give somebody most of your French fries without making them give you any of theirs.” Chrissy – age 6

“Love is what makes you smile when you’re tired.” Terri – age 4

“Love is when my mommy makes coffee for my daddy and she takes a sip before giving it to him, to make sure the taste is OK.” Danny – age 7

“Love is when you kiss all the time. Then when you get tired of kissing, you still want to be together and you talk more. My Mommy and Daddy are like that. They look gross when they kiss” Emily – age 8

“Love is what’s in the room with you at Christmas if you stop opening presents and listen.” Bobby – age 7

“If you want to learn to love better, you should start with a friend who you hate,” Nikka – age 6

“Love is when you tell a guy you like his shirt, then he wears it everyday.” Noelle – age 7

“Love is like a little old woman and a little old man who are still friends even after they know each other so well.” Tommy – age 6

“My mommy loves me more than anybody. You don’t see anyone else kissing me to sleep at night.” Clare – age 6

“Love is when Mommy gives Daddy the best piece of chicken.” Elaine-age 5

“Love is when Mommy sees Daddy smelly and sweaty and still says he is handsomer than Robert Redford.” Chris – age 7

“I know my older sister loves me because she gives me all her old clothes and has to go out and buy new ones.” Lauren – age 6

“Love is when Mommy sees Daddy on the toilet and she doesn’t think it’s gross.” Mark – age 6

“You really shouldn’t say ‘I love you’ unless you mean it. But if you mean it, you should say it a lot. People forget.” Jessica – age 8

Dear Utah Weather

Please decide if you want to be Spring or Winter.
Preferably Spring.
I'm ready for it to be WARM and SUNNY!
STOP snowing. That's not cool

Bring on the summer nights, warm grass, suntans, swimming, bonfires and all that
summer magic.
I'm ready to live in King Henry Apartments with a pool and a hottub :)
Only a few more weeks and I will

Festival of Colors

Yay! I loved the Festival of Colors this year.
I went in 2009 with my cousins, Natusha and Jasmine.
This year I went with some friends from college and it was super fun.

Invitational Dance!

So there was an Invitational Dance at the Wilkinson Student Center
for Wyview Park and Heritage Halls last night.
But none of the girls in our Building had dates.. so we got all dolled up and went together :)
It was super fun! It was awesome. We loved it.
The theme was "Passport to Europe"
So they had food from all these different countries in Europe, and it was super yummy!
The gym had a giant Eiffel Tower in the middle. That was cool.
We just had a blast, a fun girls night out and danced the night away!

Good times.. Oh man I love the girls in my building! They are so funny! And gorgeous

Lamenites in Wyview...

Ha ha this is what happens when kids get bored in Provo...

Protesting the Cold.

Ever since I have returned from St. George, I have missed the 80 degree weather.
I don't like the clouded over cold yucky stuff.
Today it is BARELY warming up a tiny bit, but I'm taking advantage of it and wearing flip flops.
Take that, winter.

Cross your fingers it doesn't come back to bite me and start raining or something.
Oh no.. I hope I didn't just jinx myself by saying that.......

Mommy

I told you about my Dad, and my Mom is equally as wonderful. Bah I'm just blessed to have the best parents.
I love my mom so much. She's always been there for me through thick and thin,
through the teenage years, the laughs and the tears.
I love her  more than I can say and she means so much to me.

I love this song Taylor Swift wrote to her Mom, and I made my
Mom a slideshow with this song in the background

I also love this song my Carrie Underwood, and I want to play it at my wedding someday :)
 It's called Momma's Song.
