Christmas in July!

"Can't you just feel the Christmas spirit?!"

I promise I'm not crazy....

Obviously it's not really Christmas! Just Christmas in July :) 

But today when I was thinking

"Why don't we have Christmas spirit everyday?"

Think about it, on Christmas morning you wake up to gifts from those we love...

You anticipate this one day for an entire year!

But what about today, or yesterday or tomorrow?

We are given presents everyday.

I like to call them something else...

blessings.

Everyday we are blessed in different ways from God but sometimes we don't realize it.

We all take the gifts we can't hold or see for granted.

But those are the ones that are the most precious.

 We all need to start recognizing blessings and being thankful for them.

So from now on I am going to try to always have Christmas in my heart :]

Here are some pictures from last year's Christmas in July party! 
It was grand. We turned down the air conditioning in our apartment so people could wear ugly sweaters,
we made hot chocolate,
we made sugar cookies, 
we listened to Christmas music, 
we tied blankets, 
and we watched the Grinch.
We should make this a tradition because it was wonderful.
