Jobs.

I am very blessed to have the best job right now. 

I have had some pretty... interesting ones... 

Well I started babysitting when I was 11 if you count that as a "job". That was great. Loved it. 

I was a janitor at my High School for three months. That's all I could stand.

 I only took the job cause I was 15 and that was all I could get. 

Then I turned sixteen and got a job at Taco Time. I loved it there actually. 

I loved the people and it was a lot of fun. 

I worked as a receptionist at Cookie Cutters, Haircuts for Kids for a summer. 

That was fun, but the people.. well let's just say they weren't. 

My senior year I worked at Roberts Crafts. I loved that job so much. 

I loved the people and the things I got to learn.. and I love crafts! 

Then last year.. I was a dishwasher on campus. 

That was.. interesting. I met a few cool people though who made it fun. 

And I got a lot of hours. Which I needed.
This summer I worked at the Cannon Center and it was amazing,
 I met alot of awesome people and learned how to cook a few things! 

Now I am a Teachers Assistant and I love it.
I have learned so much, met new people, had new experiences and I'm excited to go to work every day.

Looking back, I can definitley see Heavenly Father's influence in my jobs. 

I have needed every one of these jobs, the things I learned and people I met at these specific times in my life. 

God is good. :)

Grandparents

I miss my grandparents.
They are incredible people.
They are such amazing examples to me.
They live in Canada (Cardston, Alberta)
My Grandpa is a Temple worker at the Cardston Temple.
They are my heros.
I want to go visit them really soon.
There's a family reunion next summer, in August.
I guess I'll have to wait till then.
My Family went and visited last year, but I was taking finals and I couldn't go.
This was the last time I saw them, in 2008 (I think. 3 years? Sad!!!)

Rake and Jump in a pile of leaves 

Come up with an epic Halloween costume and party in it

Go on a drive up the Canyon to see the leaves 

Jump in Blue Foam 

Cheer on the Cougars!!! :) 

I love Fall so much and Fall traditions! :) 

And the Holidays are just around the corner.

Goof.

So... you've heard me say that I teach gym to second grade for one of my classes. 

For this class, we have to videotape ourselves teaching and then code the tape on a computer. 

Today, I was in the computer lab trying to code my video. I was asking like 5 different people why it wasn't working and it wouldn't code and I was in a hurry and frustrated. 

Then I tried again and realised... 

I hadn't plugged the dang camera into the computer. 

We all had a good laugh at me.

Life is good today in my corner of the universe.

I love Fall.

I love school.

I love my Family. 

I love my friends. 

I love the opportunity I have to get an education. 

I am grateful for my health. 

I am grateful for the sunshine. 

I am grateful for my roommates. 

I am grateful to live in this country. 

I am grateful to have the gospel in my life. 

I am grateful for food on the table. 

I am grateful for a place to live.
Sometimes I forget these things, but when I see people who don't.... I stop and think...What could I ever have to complain about?

 Absolutely Nothing.

 Heavenly Father is so good to me. And I don't deserve it. Sometimes (more often than not) I forget to thank God for these things in my life. Today I will not.

Releif Society Broadcast :)

This year's Relief Society broadcast on Saturday night was incredible. This is JUST what I needed to hear. I especially loved Elder Uchdorf's talk. It was incredible. 

Sisters, wherever you are, whatever the circumstances may be, you are not forgotten. No matter how dark your days may seem, no matter how insignificant you may feel, no matter how overshadowed you think you may be, your Heavenly Father has not forgotten you. In fact, He loves you, with an infinite love.
