Dreams

I had the weirdest dream last night,
I dreamed that I won a contest, and it was a trip to Hawaii
so Heather and I went and were in Hawaii together and it was so fun!
Also there was an MTC in Hawaii and Cami was there and we were looking for her!
I also won a truck, filled with money.
It was a pretty sweet dream.
I woke up for a minute and told Heather about it,
and then I went back to sleep.
This time, I dreamed that cockroaches were climbing through my window, and on my bed!
Then I dreamed a bird flew through my window and into our closet.
I sleep on the top of a bunk bed and it's right on ground level next to a window, so I woke up freaked out

Dreams are so weird

Cultural Diorama Assignment- Short, White, Mormon, Canadian Female

For my TELL 400 class, we are supposed to create a diorama that describes who we are culturally as a person.

This is a Canadian Flag. This describes who I am because it is my heritage, and where my citizenship lies. I am Canadian and American. My childhood was spent in this place. It represents a big part of who I am. I grew up there and a big part of me developed while I was there. I also have a lot of family there, and that's literally a part of me. I love the memories I have in Canada and the thing that this flag represents.

This baby represents a lot of things. It represents my love of my family. It represents my future career as an educator. It represents my love and passion for working with children. It represents my goal of having my own children and family someday. My family, and my goal to have my own future family someday is represented in this child, and it represents a big part of who I am.

This is a picture of the Salt Lake Temple. It represents my morals, goals, and my religion. This represents the life I live and the standards that I live by. This is a symbol of my religion. It is a symbol of my religious beliefs. This represents my values. These things are obviously a big part of my life and who I am. It also represents my aspirations and dreams, because I want to be able to be married in the temple one day. I want to life a life worthy to be there someday.

Catching Up

Ah! With Conference, Finals, Easter, and moving in to King Henry, I have been to busy to keep up here!
Things that have happened recently:
1. Cami left on her mission! :) ( Super exciting!! But sad at the same time :( )

2. General Conference was amazing as always :)

3. Survived Finals! Yay! :)

4. My 19th Birthday was on Thursday, April 21!
On Midnight on Wednesday we went to Denny's with about 15 friends to celebrate.
It was a super fun way to celebrate and have a last hurrah with our Wyview buddies :)
I spent the rest of my birthday packing, cleaning, visiting friends, going to Pizza Factory thanks to Susan,
eating lots, going to a big dance party, and having cake!
It was a very good day :)

5. I cleaned and packed and moved out of Wyview. Holy cow, that took forever. I'm glad that's over

6. My baby niece was born! :) Grace Leona! She's so cute.

7. Easter was fun! We had Aunt Necia and my cousin Natashua over,
and of course my brothers and their kids and all our family. It was great to have
everyone together having fun. Good times.
So my birthday, my parents anniversary, my uncle's birthday, my dad's birthday and my new niece's birthday are all in the same week in April! It's crazy, but fun :)
Love it.

8. I moved into my new apartments two days ago and started Spring term yesterday!
My two new roommates seem great! Heather and I love them already.
Can't wait to see what comes next.

So Happy!

It's amazing how Heavenly Father can speak to you through scriptures and answer prayers or questions through scripture. It's simply amazing.

Lots to catch up on.. but I'm super tired and it's late.
Till tomorrow.

I miss reading...

I miss having the time to sit down and read a good book!
Ever since I left for College, and even in High School, I just haven't had the time to read much.
I remember in Elementary School and in Middle School
how I loved reading SO MUCH and LIVED in the library.
I remember my Mom taking me to the library weekly (or more) to get books and I would read them so fast.
Ahh.... I would love to be able to do that.
Maybe in the summer, since my class load won't be huge I'll have some more time to do leisure reading.
Ahh... that will be so nice :)
As for now... back to reading Textbooks :( Yuck.

I have never read the Huger Games, and I heard they are super good.
My goal is to read them sometime soon.
